Resources for Women's Agenda Assemblies

Contacts

Jenny Brobst, jenny_brobst@yahoo.com, (919) 419-3474 ext. 401, is the chair of the 2008 Women's Agenda Assembly process. Feel free to contact her with any questions or comments.

Each region of the state has an NCWU volunteer contact and a staff member from the NC Council for Women to help assist the local groups with their planning. Find their contact information on the list of local assemblies.

The Draft Women's Agenda

This collection of position papers forms the basis for the discussions at the Agenda Assemblies.

IMPORTANT: If you downloaded a copy before Sept. 13, you probably want to update your copy with

Agenda Building Book

The Agenda Building Book covers the nuts and bolts of running an Agenda Assembly --from publicity tips to how to report the results.

Mailing list

There is an e-mail list for discussions and announcements of interest to the coordinators of the Agenda Assemblies. To subscribe, contact Jenny or list-owner@ncwu.org. Once subscribed you'll be able to post questions to others on the list, and you're encouraged to share the good ideas on how you're running your Assembly.

Websites

  • Buncombe County - flyer, registration form and more
  • Wake County - flyer, registration form and online registration, sponsorship form, and more

If you'd like to reuse any of the documents posted on those sites, contact the local coordinator or post to the e-mail list for help.

Contact Jenny or info@ncwu.org if you have someone who could manage your website and would like to have space on the NCWU server to host it.

Other documents

If you have documents you'd like to share that you think would help coordinators of other events, please forward to Jenny to have them posted here.
