Why join?

Here are some of the reasons your organization might want to become part of the NCWU coalition:
  • Advocacy-NCWU's coalition of organizations provides a network to share information on issues affecting women.

  • Listserv-this provides your organization with direct access to NCWU's membership and others who have subscribed to the alerts list, allowing you to reach more constituents in a timely manner.

  • Name Recognition for your organization-being a member of NCWU is a way for your issue to be tied to other important women's issues.  Current members.

How to join?

NC Women United is a coalition of organizations who wish to work together to advance NCWU's goals. Dues are on a sliding scale based on the organization's annual budget:

The dues year is the calendar year. Dues paid after October 1 apply through December of the following year.

Please include the name of the organization, a web address (if applicable) and information on a contact person including name, position, address, phone(s) and e-mail. You may also complete our information form and enclose a copy of the confirmation page with your check. If you prefer, print and complete the form in our renewal packet. If you prefer a form you can complete online and share in e-mail, please use this fill-in form.

Individuals

Individuals are encouraged to get involved in the work of NCWU through our member organizations. We also have volunteer opportunities to help the overall effort or in local communities.

Please include your name, address, phone(s) and e-mail. NCWU is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Those contributing at least $35 ($15 for students) will be named "Friends of NCWU."
