- Forward the information to your community
- Contact your legislators on the issues as they are of importance to you

Getting information

- Open to the public
- Representatives of member organizations may post concise public policy alerts
- Subscribe to members@ncwu.org
- Open to active NCWU volunteers/donors and those affiliated with our member organizations
- Used for internal NCWU communications and representatives of member organizations may post events, jobs, and more general public policy information.

- Open to the public
- Used for announcements by those who have been active in the Wake County Agenda Assemblies for posts about local events
- Contact us if you’d like to set up a similar list for your area.

- Send notes for publication to newsletter@ncwu.org
- Check out the tweets from NCWU members for a snapshot of what’s happening right now!
- Follow @ncwu on twitter to get the key items from the members’ twitter streams as well as info from the email lists
- “Like” NCWU on Facebook
- Twitter posts are forwarded automatically to Facebook, and the page administrators post additional information there
For our members
- Be sure your representatives are connected to the members and alerts email lists and that they understand those lists can be used to advance your organization’s goals.
- If you use twitter be sure that your account is on the NCWU members list and that the @ncwu account is following yours
- If you use Facebook, make sure that the NCWU Facebook Page has “liked” your page
- Remember that if you’d like us to rebroadcast one of your messages on twitter or Facebook, it’ll be much easier to do that if you include a link for more information. If all the info is in an attachment, we’ll be unable to forward it.
