Women’s Advocacy Day: April 9

The biennial Women’s Advocacy Day will be Tuesday, April 9 at the Legislative Building in Raleigh.

Kim Gandy, president and CEO of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, past-president of the National Organization for Women, and and one of the country’s leading feminists, will be the keynote speaker.

Come be inspired — and raise your voice about your concerns with your legislators!

Our member organizations will be working on the list of issues to highlight and preparing position papers to help arm advocates with the best information possible.

Now is the time for us as the advocacy community to rally together around ALL of the issues that matter for women and their families, and to engage with our legislative allies about what we’re up against and how we can further our agenda in this context.

Check this brief overview to see what to expect.

We hope to see you there!
