As we look ahead to an important election year and an exciting year featuring our signature program, the Women’s Agenda Assemblies, we must also focus our attention on strengthening the organization that inspires, educates, and advocates for the women’s agenda across North Carolina.

Over the past 10+ years, NCWU has given member organizations a voice throughout the state and with our key legislators. Now more than ever, NCWU’s policy advocacy work is needed, given the course of the 2011 legislative session. NCWU continues to bring attention to and raise the issues that most need addressing in support of women. We are THE VOICE of women in North Carolina through our statewide agenda asssemblies.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly skilled leaders in our member organizations and beyond to consider joining our Board beginning in July 2012. We ask if you can consider offering your expertise to
